Use of personal data 

The personal data you provided will be processed for the purposes of selling products and services sold by Sparkes & Sparkes – Componentes Automóveis, Lda. 

Responsible for the processing of personal data: 

The company Sparkes & Sparkes- Componentes Automóveis, Lda., is responsible for the processing of your personal data, by automated or non-automated means, from collection, organization and storage to disposal. 

Sparkes is aware of and complies with the rules for the processing of personal data, currently set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016. 

Purpose

Your personal data will only be used for the purposes indicated above. 

Your data will not be passed on to third parties or used for purposes other than those for which you have given us your consent. 

Please note that the communication of your personal data that you are making to Sparkes is not required by law or for any other reason. Therefore, you are not obliged to provide us with your data, but if you do not, the consequence will be that you will not receive marketing of the products and services marketed by Sparkes. 

Subcontractor 

We inform that Sparkes & Sparkes has the following entity as a subcontractor for the purposes of data processing for sending the mailing list: Bessa & Bessa, Lda. (commercial company incorporated under Portuguese law, registered in the Commercial Registry of Guimarães, tax identification number 508 696 151). The only data provided to this company are email addresses. 

Data retention period 

Your data will be retained for a period of 2 years from the granting of this authorization or, if you have entered into a sales or service contract with us, for a period of 5 years from the granting of this authorisation, or for a longer period if required by law. 

Right of access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, opposition to processing, request for portability of your data:

You have the right, whenever you want and free of charge, to ask Sparkes to: 

– access the data you have provided to us;

– request rectification of your data;

– request payment of your data;

– request restriction of the processing of your data;

– object to the processing of your data;

– request the portability of your data to a third party designated by you. 

However, it should be noted that if there is a rule or obligation imposed by law that overrides these rights, Sparkes will respond that it is impossible to execute the request, indicating the respective reasons.
